You were a life that never began....

Verse.....  "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."   2 Corinthians 12:9-10

You were a life that never began,


but one that will still be missed.

I don't understand how it happened,

but there was nothing more I could do.



An empty sack,

no longer an embryo.

You were meant to be my first,

the child I always wanted.



The doctors scooped me out,

I was left feeling hollow and empty inside.

Not one word can express,

the pain I felt that night.



A time an space for every spirit,

a loving family waiting for you to join their home.

But I think you jumped spaces in the line,

god sent you back to the end to wait your turn.



There is a time and place for you to come,

I hope we meet one day.

For all I know of this world,

you'll be someone's sunshine ray.



I will still miss you,

even though i never got the chance to meet you.

Your were that part of me,

a twinkle of pure and innocence.
