Little angels...

Welcome to my Daily Inspiration blog.. I started doing a daily inspiration post on a message board that I frequent not long after losing my baby Grace at 18 weeks gestation. I have lost three babies total, one at 8 wks, one at 18 wks, and one at 7 wks. I am currently expecting again and praying that it is God's will we get to keep this baby.

I moved my daily postings over to this blog when I got pregnant again and didnt want to offend girls that were grieving. I post a daily bible verse, a thought for the day, a song and a poem.. I hope that you enjoy and maybe it helps you see light on the "dark days" after pregnancy loss/ miscarriage. I can tell you that God has carried me through the last year.

Verse...  "Then Job replied to the Lord 'I know that you can do all things, no plan of yours can be thwarted.  You asked "who is this that obscures counsel without knowledge.?" Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.  Job 42:1-3 NIV

Thought for today.....  Peace is much less a condition than a state of mind.  Anxiety and tension can rule the day even when the circumstances of my life would indicate that all should be well with me.  I can walk in sunshine and see only shadows.  I can be surrounded by those I love and be consumed with fear of losing them.  I can accomplish a great task and still wonder why I did not do better.....  Peace in the ultimate meaning of the word, is not the absence of conflict.  It is not the accumulation of wealth or comfort and ease, or a state of happieness.  Peace is that sense down deep inside that says no matter what happens, all is well with my soul...  (Verdell Davis)

Song/video...  This isnt the greatest video, but this is a very powerful song!

Poem...

Little Angels

When God calls little children

to dwell with Him above.

We mortals sometimes question

the wisdom of His love.

for no heartache compares with

the death of one small child,

who does so much to make our world

seem wonderful and mild.

Perhaps God tires of calling

the aged to His fold.

So He picks a rosebud

before it can grow old.

God knows how much we need them

and so He takes but few,

to make the land of Heaven

more beautiful to view.

Believing this is difficult

still somehow me must try.

The saddest word mankind know

will always be "Goodbye".

So when a child departs

we who are left behind,

must realize God loves children,

Angels are hard to find.
